Operations Coordinator Customs Brokerage (m / f / d) for our Frankfurt office :
Your tasks :
- Ensure that Customs follows pre-agreed processes between customer, operations and Customs
- Ensure that Customs entries comply with all laws and AEO requirements
- Resolving Customs related issues in general
- Develop relationship with local Customs
- Attend Customs related meetings and keep local organization properly informed
- Lead improvement and process optimization initiatives
- Perform data integrity checks and ensure compliance with standards
- Support local onboarding of new business or new agreed processes
- Create, maintain and validate client work instructions and SOP documents
- Ensure all KPI's meet customer requirements
- Ensure all team meets customer and BDP internal deadlines
- Periodically review and improve process flow and document process flow
- Ensure billing is accurate and timely
- Monitor that all required data is updated on internal or client systems (as per procedures).
- Produce reports as required by clients and / or internal team
Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
Your profile :
- Completed apprenticeship in the field of customs or equivalent and additional qualifications in supply chain management will be helpful
- Experience of minimum 3 -5 years in customs
- Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding operations
- Working knowledge of the operations procedure in the country
- Knowledge in the system "CM ZABIS - BluJay / e2Open advantageous
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
- Language : German and English, both fluent
