This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeingthe legal strategy, operations, and risk management across thecorporate functions of the organization.

This position requiresdeep expertise in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions,regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, and legal riskmanagement, and acts as a strategic partner to the executiveleadership team to safeguard the organization’s interests.

We arelooking for a Head of Group for Corporate Legal & Regulatoryaffairs across all Germany Acting as the new Head of Group forCorporate Legal & Regulatory Affairs, you will take over asenior leadership role.

You will be responsible for overseeing thelegal strategy, operations, and risk management across thecorporate functions of the organization.

Your position requiresprofound expertise in corporate governance, mergers andacquisitions, regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, andlegal risk management, since you will be a strategic partner to theexecutive leadership team which is safeguarding the organization’sinterests.

Your tasks and responsibilities : Legal Strategy &Leadership

• Develop and execute the overall legal strategy forcorporate functions and ensure alignment with the organization’sbusiness objectives
• Provide expert and strategic legal advice tothe board, senior management, and business units on all corporatelegal matters, including compliance, transactions, and regulatoryaffairs
• Lead the corporate legal team and promote a collaborativehigh-performance culture Mergers, Acquisitions & Transactions
• Oversee legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, andjoint ventures
• Collaborate with external legal counsels whennecessary, and represent the organization efficiently andeffectively Regulatory Affairs
• Act as main point of contact forall regulatory parties on a group level
• Build and maintainsuccessful relationships with regulatory bodies, external counsels,and other key stakeholders to protect the organization’s legal andbusiness interests Contract Management
• Oversee the negotiations,drafts, and reviews of key corporate contracts and agreements,including service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnershipagreements
• Implement efficient contract management systems andprocesses across the organization Risk Management
• Identify,assess, and manage legal risks associated with the company’sbusiness activities
• Work closely with the risk management team toensure proactive legal risk management and mitigation strategies
• Lead investigations into significant legal issues and disputes,managing litigation, arbitration, or other dispute resolutionprocesses when necessary Team Leadership & Development
• Lead,mentor, and develop a team of in-house corporate lawyers and legalprofessionals
• Manage sustainable relationships with external lawfirms, which ensure high-quality service and cost-effectivesolutions Stakeholder Management
• Act as a trusted advisor tointernal business units who provides practical and actionable legaladvice Your skills and experience :
• University degree in law / legal sciences
• Admission / license to practice law in relevantjurisdiction(s)
• Many years (10+) of legal experience with a focuson corporate legal matters, including extensive experience in asenior leadership role within a corporate environment
• Proventrack record in corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions,compliance, and industry-specific regulations
• Extensiveexperience in working with C-suite executives and board members
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and management skills forleading cross-functional teams
• An upright personality withdistinct work ethics and sound judgment in complex legal mattersand the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environmentwhile managing multiple projects simultaneously.
