Based remotely in Germany, this role is crucial in enhancing our supply chain operations and customer satisfaction across the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex supply chain processes, building solid relationships with key EU customers, and driving operational improvements.

Fluency in German and English is essential, and additional language skills are advantageous. This role demands frequent travel across the region, requiring excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities :

• Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, collaborating on supply chain improvements and promotional planning to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Operational Excellence : Lead customer-specific supply chain projects, continually assessing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive volume through enhanced supply chain metrics.
• Strategic Analysis and Reporting : Utilize strong analytical skills to produce actionable data that informs business decisions and supports dynamic supply chain management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and execution of supply chain strategies.
• Innovation and Process Improvement : Oversee the smooth processing of orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers and supporting the launch of new products and market expansion initiatives.
• Forecasting and Planning : Contribute to demand forecasting and assortment decisions, optimizing inventory management and forecast accuracy through detailed analysis and market insights.

Candidate Requirements :

• Professional Experience : Minimum of 5 years in supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG sector, with direct experience handling EU markets.
• Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills : Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining productive relationships with key business partners and customers.
• Travel Readiness : Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the EMEA region as required.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite or Tableau.
• Analytical Abilities : Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, able to manage complex datasets to derive business insights and strategic actions.
• Leadership Qualities : Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives, driving improvements and innovations in supply chain processes.
