About the client and role
Our client, is an automotive software supplier, they are looking for a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for driving their expansion strategy, particularly within the fields of electric mobility, cybersecurity, and advanced diagnostic technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate the company's market position using competitive analysis methods like SWOT.
- Create strategic growth initiatives that emphasize electric mobility, cybersecurity, and diagnostic services.
- Define business objectives and develop plans to increase revenue, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new customer opportunities and growth areas.
- Identify and pursue potential partnerships to accelerate business expansion.
- Foster new business connections to support long-term growth and market expansion.
- Independently identify and secure new clients (OEMs / Tier 1) and initiate new projects.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and emerging technologies to help attract new clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and establish key relationships.
- Continuously expand your professional network and maintain a solid understanding of market shifts and opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related area, preferably within the technology sector.
- Proficiency in SWOT analysis and strategic business planning.
- Strong knowledge of electric mobility, cybersecurity, and diagnostic solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.
