TheDirector of Materials and Supply Chain EMEA is responsible tocreate, articulate and support Pall’s DMS (Danaher MaterialSystems) Strategy throughout the materials teams globally, withresponsibility for their region.

The Director of Materials will dothis by working with and providing direction for Materials Mangerson-site to tailor and then execute the PFEP based onRegional / Market nuance, with a goal to create a responsiveend-to-end supply chain environment working with our StrategicSourcing partners.

Next important part of work is sourcingexperience in EMEA region. Cooperation with Global Sourcing Teamand being efficient to support sourcing strategy.

This person isresponsible for the dotted line management of the MaterialsManagers, providing support for their teams and direction onprocesses to ensure standards and alignment to the Pall’s GlobalStrategy for DMS, Commodities and Sourcing.

Thisrole is an onsite position in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and is part ofthe Global Integrated Supply ChainTeam.

In this role,you will have the opportunityto :

• Deploy site goals andtargets by aligning global targets for materialsmanagers
• Develop PFEP standards & planningstrategies and a holistic end-to-end planningprocess.
• Support & Maintain strategicsubcontractors and OEM business, make sure they keep capacity,price, quality to our demands.
• Support GlobalSourcing Team by knowing EMEA sourcing market for our products andservices.
• Develop PFEP standards aligned toGlobal commodity strategies and feedback to the sourcing team tosupport and influence supplier decisions that impact inventory& service levels.
• Drive IMAG Tools &Standards ensuring problem-solving processes andresolution.
• Drive use of Kanban & DMSthroughout Materials Organization.
• Assign SMARTInventory goals to Materials teams globally working with Financeand sourcing, using Pall DMS Tools and Bestpractices.

Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :

• Bachelor's degreeor equivalent work experience.
• 5 + years ofexperience in materials planning and procurement in aninternational manufacturing and supply chainenvironment.
• 5+ years of experience ininventory management, logistics, demand planning, and scheduling.To include a solid understanding of procurement best practice including, but not limited to : Supplier PULL Systems, VMI, SupplierAssessment and Vendor Rating including Supplier Performancereviews, supplier Kanban, consignment, stocking, and consolidatedinvoicing.
• 5+ years of proven functionalleadership experience within the procurement and inventorymanagement field.
• 5+ years of experiencesupporting new business opportunities / proposals with suppliertechnical innovation / information.
• 5+ years ofexperience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies toinclude lean conversion and KPIs improvement, on-time delivery,Lead time, cost and Inventory reduction, Supplier development,etc.
• 5+ years of working with ERP Systems basedon MRP.
• Strong proficiency in German andEnglish is essential for effectivecommunication.

Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :

• Knowledge of the GlobalMarketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separationprocesses or related disciplines.
• Experience indeveloping business strategy, and leading strategic initiatives insupport of functional and businessobjectives.
• Good record of KPIs improvement,on-time delivery, lead time, cost and Inventory reduction, Supplierdevelopment,etc.
