Product Manager - Market Data (f/m/d)

Our expertise is the provision of order-book and trade data from stock, derivatives and commodity exchanges and the creation of analytics.
As a Product Manager Data you will be identifying, developing and monetizing data assets and distribution systems. You will analyse the global market data business, run projects and initiatives with the objective to extend our product offering, improve our business model and develop and maintain the business with our global partners and customers.
In addition you analyse regulation and the respective implementation. You bring in-depth knowledge about market data use-cases of sell- or buy-side firms, venues or vendors and use this to work closely with our Sales and IT departments and find the best solutions for our clients and cooperation partners.
Your responsibilities
- Product ownership for specific market, reference data and analytics products
- Steer initiatives, projects and product enhancements, mobilizing teams and driving actions towards short and long-term business goals
- Market analysis, creation of business cases, developing product features and pricing schemes
- Use your project and product experience to present results and recommended actions to management, as well as detailed product features and USPs to clients
- Documentation and implementation of change management processes around market data products and pricing, licensing and control / entitlement systems, contracts and regulation
- Support of relationship management with major accounts to create a better understanding of customer needs and data usage
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your master’s degree in business, finance, economics or a similar field
- You have 2-3 years of experience in product management or business development in the field of capital markets data, financial products or trading
- You have in-depth experience of market-data use-cases within a buy- / sell-side firm (e.g. trading, execution management / order routing, portfolio management), an exchange or other market data provider (e.
g. broker, index provider), or from a market data vendor or service provider
- You have knowledge about recent developments and new technologies in the market data industry like cloud-adoption, latency reduction, market structure and alternative trading platforms, electronification of financial markets
- You have experience in project work and methodologies, certification as a project manager or product owner is a clear plus
- You have strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills round of your profile
- You are an expert in MS Office and bring first experiences with Business Intelligence Tools
- You are proficiency in written and spoken English - additional languages are a plus
