Data Product Manager - BI

About this position

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Data Product Manager specializing in Business Intelligence? We are looking for you to join our team! At GLS / NXT, you will lead the development, implementation, delivery, and improvement of the insights that allow us to make business decisions across different ventures and realize the value of our data.

This role requires strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and a deep understanding of BI technologies and methodologies.

Your responsibilities

• Work with data engineers and data analysts to build reporting structures allowing for monitoring, performance measurement and analyses of our initiatives
• Drive data culture in our ventures through your work
• Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders to inform the development of BI dashboards
• Develop and own the roadmap for BI, working alongside a data analyst and collaborating across functions to drive the data-driven mindset in our ventures
• Oversee the implementation and delivery of BI solutions ensuring project timelines are met
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and availability for dashboard development
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of the products you’ve built
• Manage the product backlog and planning to prioritize deliverables and enhancements
• Monitor and analyze product metrics to drive continuous improvement in BI dashboards

What you need to be successful

Background

• 3 years of experience in project or product management in an analytics / business insights role, or +2 years with a background in an analytical role
• Proven track record of successfully leading the development and implementation of BI dashboards / reports, along with initial experience having created them yourself would be a plus
• Solid understanding of BI technologies, methodologies, and best practices
• Familiarity with Big Query and Looker is key
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices
