Product Engineer for Software and Workstations (m / f / d)

Your Responsibilities

Work in the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering team which drives Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment

Work closely with Advantest contract manufacturers and Advantest development, supply chain and product marketing teams in a very international environment to enable new workstation and software products

Develop software tools and scripts supporting the manufacturing flow and automation of the entire production portfolio in our supply chain

Accountable for ensuring tools and software for production processes are maintained and engineering changes from product generation locations are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner

Develop and implement strategies to support production environment automation and data management.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor / Master's degree in IT with good background in software engineering and HW architecture

Experience in scripting languages (Python, Shell)

Linux knowledge and background in server support

Analytical skills in failure identification and problem-solving

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and strong organization and management skills

Fluency in english and desired german lamguage skills
