As it continues to grow, it is strategically seeking to expand its footprint in new markets, particularly in the semiconductor value chain.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic European Business Development Manager to drive the company's growth agenda within the electronics sector in the EMEA region. This critical role will focus on developing and executing a comprehensive marketing road map and go-to-market strategy specifically targeting semiconductor applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's market presence and maximizing revenue potential in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Development : Create and implement a focused European marketing strategy for specialty chemicals within the semiconductor and electronics industries.
  • Market Analysis : Identify emerging trends and opportunities through direct engagement, industry research, and competitive analysis.
  • Relationship Building : Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to position the company as a preferred strategic partner in the semiconductor value chain.
  • Portfolio Management : Oversee the product portfolio to maximize returns while minimizing risks associated with market entry and growth.
  • Promotional Collaboration : Support regional promotional efforts and work closely with internal stakeholders across various regions to align strategies and initiatives.
  • Intelligence Coordination : Lead the gathering of industry intelligence to inform and guide strategic decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience : A minimum of 10 years in marketing or related fields, with a proven track record in business development and market penetration.
  • Industry Insight : Deep understanding of electronics and semiconductor industry trends, dynamics, and challenges.
  • Relationship Management : Demonstrated ability to navigate and cultivate relationships with key industry decision-makers.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong financial analysis, marketing, and communication skills, with an aptitude for strategic thinking.
  • Emerging Market Experience : Experience in establishing organizations in emerging markets is a plus.
  • Educational Background : A scientific or technical degree combined with business acumen is preferred.
  • Language Proficiency : Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in an additional EU language is desirable.
