For our Plant in Schwerte (Germany, nearby Dortmund), we are looking for:

Production Manager (m/v/x) - GE

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of telescopic booms. The Production Managerwill be responsible for the running of all production lines, the on-time deliveries to our customers and the quality of our products.

We are looking for a leader with deep know-how in production procedures. A leader that will guide his team to achieve maximum performance, and able to take decisions and resolve problems.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and lean manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement all necessary safety and health standards to continue to promote our
• “0 accident” culture
• Motivate, support and guide people
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
• Work closely with other managers to define objectives and understand the requirements
• Develop a strong “build in quality” mentality
• Organize the workflow and the production plan to meet deadlines
• Estimate costs, prepare budget, and determine number of required resources to achieve the business plan
• Monitor production versus production plan and resolve issues

QUALIFICATIONS

• A passion for production
• Minimum 15 years of experience as production manager
• Deep knowledge of production management and LEAN manufacturing Value Stream Mapping / Root Cause & Corrective Action / Continuous Improvement / Total Productive Maintenance / Overall Equipment Effectiveness
• Fluently speaking German and English
• Driven by results
• Strong decision-making skills
• Understanding quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Experience in reporting and analyzing key production metrics
• “Every problem has a solution” attitude
• Thinking out of the box
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP software
• Follow up the correct use of the Managing Systems
• Outstanding communication ability
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
• Attention to detail
