Your responsibilities

• Own design and maintain the IT Configuration Item inventory and CMDB with the target to deliver transparency about type ownership and health status of all IT CIs connected to RWEs network
• Develop an Configuration Item framework identify which CIs need to be managed and controlled as well as the level of detail at which CIs are to be identified. Design and build the CMDB considering the full life cycle of configuration items
• Act as an architect to design ServiceNow CMDB structures table interactions data flows data policies data dependencies / relations & service mapping together with the implementation teams which are building the foundation for the whole IT value chain and ITIL processes
• Own and improve the Configuration Management processes and provide overarching governance to all stakeholders in IT and business including technical assessment of requirements
• Enable all stakeholders to be empowered to make informed decisions proactively manage risks and improve service resilience including cyber security because of the CMDB.
• Cooperate closely with all internal and external IT service providers and ensure that they have an IT Configuration Management process in place which guarantees complete transparency about all CIs connected to RWEs network
• Engage with all stakeholders and strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required and data quality and functionality within projected timeframes
• Oversee / Own the design coding and testing of reporting capabilities as needed
