Your role as a Principal Project Manager, Automation & Innovation

This is a unique opportunity to join GXO, help to shape and drive the strategic

direction of automation solutions and maintenance strategy across the region. We need someone that is maintenance expert!

Due to travel 50-75% of the time within Continental Europe, our role can be based in Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany or Poland. We will need fluency in English; additional European languages are of benefit.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Automation & Adaptive Technology for Continental Europe

What you need to succeed at GXO as a Principal Project Manager, Automation & Innovation

• Shape Maintenance Strategy : Contribute to the development of a Continental Europe maintenance / automation strategy. Define and implement technical support and maintenance standards for large-scale automated sites.
• Drive Operational Efficiency through standardization of maintenance activities : Lead continuous improvement initiatives by benchmarking performance, analysing maintenance metrics, and identifying opportunities to enhance system availability and implement best practices with the aim to reduce downtime
• Support Implementation of Automation Solutions : Guide and support the deployment of new automation technologies, ensuring successful integration and scalability across sites.
• Foster Cross-Country Collaboration with Maintenance Teams : Promote and coordinate collaboration across the European operational community to share knowledge, align strategies, and drive synergies.
