Project and Heavy Lift Director - Germany (m / w / d) for our Hamburg office :
Your tasks :
- Prioritize business development and maintain strong client relationships my management / implementation of new clients within Germany and Europe together with your EU project colleagues
- Processing project and general cargo related enquiries and tender requests - ITB, RFI, RFQ
- Demonstrate ownership and drive to support the implementation of strategic objectives
- Expertly manage tender processes, working with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class services
- Skillfully negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and industry professionals
- Ensure seamless coordination and communication between sales and operational teams
- Stay ahead of market trends, perform competitive analysis and provide valuable market insights
- Trouble shooting / problem solving / claim management
- Profit and loss accountability
- Leadership Meeting customer requirements Set priorities Achieve growth of the account / business

Your profile :
- Nine years plus experience in project cargo forwarding, including breakbulk, heavy lift, international and container operations
- A professional qualification awarded by an approved educational institution specializing in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Commercial and operational experience in general cargo, break bulk, oversized and heavy lift (multimodal) shipments
- Implementing a business development plan as well as directing all details of project delivery under your assignment
- Willingness to travel on national and international business trips
- Excellent knowledge of German and English, enabling you to quickly find your way internationally
- Computer literacy with Microsoft software applications and other market leading software applications. In-depth knowledge of electronic support tools for logistics operations
- Analytical skills to develop logistics solutions
