EMEA Inside Sales & Powertrain Manager
Position Summary :
Under the direction of the EMEA Sales Leader, the EMEA Inside Sales & Powertrain Manager will manage a team of Inside Sellers based in EMEA and is responsible for directing and executing Sales plans / programs.
The EMEA Inside Sales & Powertrain Manager will also partner with Powertrain global leader to create vision and strategy for Powertrain growth in region.
Major Responsibilities :
- Directs Inside Sales Specialists who interface daily with : Industrial Distributors / Channel Partners, End Users and OEM’s
- Effectively collaborates with EMEA Sales Directors, Regional Manager and Vertical Sales Directors
- Sets short and long-term sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current sales deployment to drive market share growth
- Provides VOC input to Sales & Division Leadership
- Serves as the escalation point for Inside sales associates and internal customer issues
- Manage each Inside seller’s disciplined selling processes to attain quota : 1) Purposeful account planning, 2) Time and territory management, and 3) Funnel opportunity management / CRM proficiency
- Perform annual review of account segmentation and account assignments. Deploy sales resources to effectively meet / exceed annual team and individual quota targets
- Leverage KPI’s provided by the CRM and otherwise as tools in coaching sellers
- Facilitate regional meetings
- Manages root-cause countermeasure (RCCM) process
- Trade Organization participation and leadership
- European Powertrain team dotted line reporting with focus on local vertical market guidance, target accounts, & market solutions
- Partner with Powertrain global leader to create vision and strategy for Powertrain growth in region
- Provide KPI’s and local reporting of Powertrain growth initiative
- Align Powertrain growth strategy with regional teams to ensure proper execution of growth goals
- Coaches, trains, and develops a group of sellers to overdrive quota
- Retains sales talent in the organization and builds bench strength in the organization
- Interviews and hires new sales talent as needed
- Perform Performance Management & Talent Review processes
Required Education / Experience :
- Education : BA / BS Industrial Technologies / Mech. Eng. / Industrial Distribution or related field
- Experience : 10+ years of experience in the field; Power Transmission industry experience preferred in Vertical Industries for which accountable.
2+ years sales management experience preferred.
- Prior sales experience in a solutions-selling environment. Industrial manufacturing or powertrain industry experience preferred.
- Travel : up to 20%
