UI / UX Software Engineer (f / m / d) Come and join a fantastic team! As part of R&D (Research & Development) in the Application Software team, you will work on one of the leading software solutions for microscopy.

The Application Software team is responsible for a wide range of areas, from the complex sequence control of microscope components and the creation of appealing user interfaces to high-performance image processing on CPUs and GPUs.

Working closely with all other R&D teams, we offer software solutions that help make the invisible visible and empower our customers to create a better, healthier world.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Designing state of the art user interfaces with in our Leica Look & Feel and a focus on usability Selection and implementation of design patterns for the efficient development of GUI libraries Development of software in C# with the WPF framework in compliance with project and process flows Ensure the high standards of our software solutions in collaboration with the QA (Quality Assurance) team Creation of software specifications and documentation YOUR PROFILE Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, engineering or natural sciences as well as several years of professional experience in software development Several years of experience creating user interfaces, ideally with WPF Experience with modern software development methods and tools Very good knowledge of the programming languages C# Good knowledge of English and German WHAT WE OFFER An attractive salary and pension package A wide range of (virtual) training opportunities to grow skills in a huge variety of fields : e.
