Your future plans
We are looking for a working student (15-20h per week) to join the Banking & Regulation (B&R) team in the Controlling & Risk Management department of RWE AG as soon as possible.
The B&R team is responsible for the RWE Group's regulatory reporting to national and international supervisory authorities.
We work very closely with the Group's trading unit, RWE Supply and Trading GmbH (RWEST), with a reporting line to its Head of Risk.
RWEST, with its global trading portfolio, is our largest customer.
- Support the team in their daily work on regulatory (transaction) reporting requirements (e.g. EMIR, CFTC, REMIT...)
- Check incoming invoices and initiate the settlement process
- Daily processing of existing reporting structures for reporting obligations to national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory authorities for physical and derivative business
- Interaction with internal interfaces and counterparties
- Documenting processes and procedures
Your powerful skills
- You are successfully studying Business Administration or a comparable course of study
- Interested to learn more about energy (commodity) trading and its regulatory framework
- You enjoy working with various applications and have a good knowledge of the MS Office (esp. Excel & Power BI)
- You enjoy working internationally and have a good command of German and English
- Team player with good communication skills
