Senior Consultant – Property Loss Control
Aufgaben
TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants (GRC) is the leading unbundled property loss control provider worldwide, offering a complete portfolio of services including Fire Protection Engineering, Boiler & Machinery Engineering, Infrared Thermographic Surveys, Jurisdictional Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspections, Natural Hazards Analysis, Diversified Services, and Loss Control Training.
For over 60 years, GRC has gone beyond the parameters of traditional property loss control services and continuously strives to provide our clients with solutions to help achieve and maintain a highly protected status.
General Responsibilities :
Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on internationally recognized standards (NFPA and others as appropriate).
Travel is to be expected regularly, mainly in France and in the Benelux.
Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.
Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss
Work assigned is typical of higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers.
Professional conduct and excellent written / verbal communication skills are required as the position requires direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers
Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and oral / written presentations to clients.
Functional Responsibilities :
Review and respond to communication from clients and internal communication
Carry out fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan review.
Review workloads and revise accordingly
Come to a sound conclusion based on information collected and the applicable standards / guidelines required.
Gather and communicate information in a clear and concise report / letter / e-mail.
Ability to manage your own workload
Ability to travel regularly internationally
Qualifikationen
5+ years of consulting experience
Experience in servicing major accounts
Recognized technical expertise
Computer literate
