As a Sales Manager specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy and revenue growth for our BESS products and solutions.

You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop key customer relationships, and identify opportunities to expand our market presence in the rapidly evolving energy storage sector

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for BESS products and solutions.

Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to drive performance and exceed sales targets.

Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.

Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential opportunities within the BESS market.

Use insights to refine sales strategies and prioritize target segments.

Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the energy industry.

Understand their needs, challenges, and objectives to position our BESS solutions effectively and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Develop accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets. Generate regular reports and provide insights to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Product Education and Promotion : Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure effective promotion and positioning of BESS products and solutions.

Provide input on product development based on customer feedback and market demand.

  • Contract Negotiation : Lead negotiations for contracts, agreements, and partnerships with customers and suppliers. Ensure favorable terms while protecting the interests of the company.
  • Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing the sale and deployment of BESS solutions.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with sales activities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the energy industry and specifically with BESS products.
  • Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
