What You Will Do

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will play a vital role in creating a seamless NFC Tap To Pay experience within the Klarna app.

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Building and optimizing the React Native UI in TypeScript for Klarna’s Tap To Pay functionality.
• Ensuring efficient performance by optimizing loading times of React Native screens / architectures
• Conducting thorough testing for mobile contactless payments to ensure secure and reliable transactions.
• Collaborating closely with the vendor team to integrate Klarna’s functionalities with their SDK, handling technical questions and support.

Who You Are

We’re looking for an experienced mobile developer skilled in building and delivering robust React Native applications. You should bring :

• Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript (or deep expertise in React and Redux).
• Experience with iOS development in Swift (Objective-C knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with mobile payment security features, ensuring high standards in secure transactions.

Awesome to Have

• Ability to write native iOS code (Swift) to bridge SDK integrations within React Native.
• Knowledge of React Native animations to create an engaging user experience.
• Background in payments or security-related applications, understanding the intricacies of secure digital transactions.

Klarna's Compensation model and Equity Offering

At Klarna, our compensation package includes a base salary and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). To ensure fairness and maintain global market competitiveness, each role in a specific location has a set base salary.

During the recruitment process, we will assess your skills and experience to determine which role is the best fit for you.

Our RSU program features a 4-year vesting schedule, allowing you to gradually become a shareholder in Klarna. Additionally, you may qualify for our Contribution-Based Reward (CBR) program, which recognizes and rewards significant contributions to our success.
