Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement : Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level clients, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business value
• Technical Leadership : Lead the design, planning, and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions, ensuring high-quality, rapid software development
• Innovation : Develop and promote new technology propositions, particularly in areas like connected car platforms, marketing, data analytics, and software platform development
• Team Development : Inspire, mentor, and grow a team of junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
• Quality Assurance : Oversee the delivery and quality of all engineering work, ensuring projects are set up for success and run efficiently
• Thought Leadership : Contribute to the industry through speaking engagements, publications, and by driving the adoption of modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines

Qualifications

Your skills and experience

• Technical Expertise : We are looking for a seasoned engineering lead and technology consultant with broad expertise in enterprise-level tech stacks related to e-commerce, content management (including headless solutions), marketing, and CRM, along with latest AI developments
• Industry Experience : Proven track record in the automotive, mobility, and transportation sectors
• Consulting Skills : Exceptional consulting, presentation, and advisory abilities with a knack for solving complex technical problems
• Language Proficiency : Fluency in English, German is a plus
• Team Leadership : Experience leading large, globally distributed engineering teams
• Architectural Knowledge : Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns and engineering disciplines to maximize delivery velocity
• External Presence : Contributions to open source, speaking at meet-ups and conferences, and authoring books or articles are highly desirable
