Company Overview :
CK Group is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join a rapidly expanding biotechnology firm that specializes in advanced technology.
This position is based in on a remote basis, located in Germany.
Role Overview :
As a Business Development Representative, you will become part of a dynamic biotech company leveraging cutting-edge technologies in immuno-oncology, animal model gene engineering, preclinical pharmacology, and therapeutic antibody discovery.
This role offers a unique opportunity to integrate scientific knowledge with business acumen. You will play a key role in identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, focusing on business development and licensing.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and establish external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and structured transactions.
- Develop and present business cases for external opportunities to the management team, supported by thorough analysis and input from internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and manage cross-functional due diligence, coordinating with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance teams, and serve as the main BD contact when necessary.
- Oversee business development operations, including proposals, term sheet development, negotiations, deal closure, and alliance management.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of business development and licensing strategies aligned with corporate and portfolio goals.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, investor meetings, and partnering events, fostering relationships with key players in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
Required Skills and Experience :
Educational Background :
A Master’s degree in science, MBA, MD, or Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related field in Biomedical Sciences is strongly preferred.
Professional Experience :
At least 2+ years of experience in business development, R&D, or strategic planning within the life sciences industry.
Knowledge and Expertise :
Extensive knowledge of business development, licensing, and pharmaceutical R&D processes.
Strategic and Analytical Skills :
Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities with proven experience.
Communication and Presentation :
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various internal and external stakeholders.
Interpersonal and Project Management :
Strong interpersonal and project management skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrix environment.
Teamwork :
A collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team.
Language Proficiency :
Bilingual in Mandarin and English is required.
