The Internship is an opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experience. Individual projects, participation in speaker sessions and networking events will all be part of the internship.

Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the Graduate program the following year.
About the Public Affairs & Regulatory Strategy Team
Within the Communications, Brand and CSR sub-division, the Public Affairs & Regulatory Strategy team is also responsible for protecting and furthering our reputation amongst stakeholders in the political and regulatory communities worldwide.
The team provides early information for the senior management on relevant political developments and upcoming regulations.
It acts as a coordinator for relationships to trade associations. It coordinates the development and drafting of positions on political / regulatory debates (e.
g. consultation responses), positioning the organization as a leader on relevant public-policy issues.
As our Intern you will :
- Support the conceptualisation / execution of the engagement plan to increase our visibility as a leading voice of the asset management industry with relevant public sector stakeholders' area, by monitoring political information sources and carrying out research as required
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on relevant meetings, events and information
- Prepare first drafts of emails, letters and briefings for external stakeholders
- Draft analyses of regulatory texts, upcoming legislation and political events relevant for the financial system
Cooperate with colleagues within Communications to leverage various communications channels where appropriate
Requirements
We’re looking for :
- Driven and committed interns
- A team player with a curious mind and with some communication skills
- At least basic knowledge of politics in Germany and the EU
- Someone with interest in financial services, but no experience is required
- Advanced German language skills
- You are enrolled in your penultimate or last year of study, or on a gap year in between your Bachelor and Master’s degree
- You need to be available for between 3-6 months. There are flexible intakes available - Spring, Summer and Autumn
