Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

Internship - OpenSource Software Research

Responsibilities

• Work with experts in Europe and China, supporting the communication and establish trustful and fruitful collaborations
• Gather cross project technical information by joining in on specific project and committee meetings
• Keep a track of latest developments by researching community blogs, release notes and industry activities
• Knowledge sharing to internal colleagues on the latest project development
• Be active part of demo projects including the prototyping and development of proof-of-concepts and writing whitepapers to promote the demos
• Support in documentation development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• Knowledge of OpenSource software and OpenSource foundations
• Knowledge of Operating Systems, Embedded Software
• Nice to have knowledge in one project management tool like Jira, Confluence
• Fluent in Chinese
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to cooperate with people from different cultures, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
