Internship - OpenSource Software Research
Responsibilities
- Work with experts in Europe and China, supporting the communication and establish trustful and fruitful collaborations
- Gather cross project technical information by joining in on specific project and committee meetings
- Keep a track of latest developments by researching community blogs, release notes and industry activities
- Knowledge sharing to internal colleagues on the latest project development
- Be active part of demo projects including the prototyping and development of proof-of-concepts and writing whitepapers to promote the demos
- Support in documentation development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- Knowledge of OpenSource software and OpenSource foundations
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, Embedded Software
- Nice to have knowledge in one project management tool like Jira, Confluence
- Fluent in Chinese
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to cooperate with people from different cultures, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
