Engineer Digital Design for Test (f/m/div)
You want to work on some of the most advanced semiconductor products and bring in your Design for Test (DFT) expertise? As an Expert for Design for Test at Infineon you will join forces with cross-functional teams and work on DFT implementation for system-on-chip designs.
In this role you have responsibility for DFT implementation and specification. Furthermore, you will contribute to the methodology development.

- Define and implement D FT (Design for Test) and BIST (Built-In Self-Test) concepts, as well as IPs to maximize test coverage while minimizing costs
- Execute scan insertion and ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation)
- Perform test coverage analysis and improvement
- Verify and support deliveries in post-silicon
- Collaboratively create DFT methodology innovations & enhancements for Infineon
- Work in close cooperation with the two mar interfaces chip design and semiconductor manufacturing as well as related areas
- Give technical guidance to other DFT engineers , concept engineers, digital designers, physical implementation, and functional verification teams
You take in information quickly, evaluate it from different points of view, and uncover hidden correlations in it. Moreover, you actively look for the ideal solution and engage in professional debates with the relevant people, instead of accepting rash compromises as well as you feel responsible for your own doing and decisions.
Beyond, you are best equipped for this task if you have :
- A degree in Microelectronic, Computer Science, Physics or a similar qualification
- At least 5 years work experience in Design for Test ; ideally also in microcontroller architectures and semiconductor technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital Design for Test (ATPG, test coverage analysis, digital verification, scan diagnosis, as a plus MBIST or LBIST)
- Open minded mentality to work with different departments and sites
- A benefit would be experience in project management of small project teams as well as experience in methodology development
- Good communication and presentation skills in a cross-functional environment in English German language skills would be a plus
