Backend Java Developer | Berlin | Hybrid | €90k
My client is a fast-growing logistics company that's reshaping the future of supply chain management! They're striving to make logistics smarter, faster, and more efficient, and are therefore looking for a talented Backend Java Developer to help achieve their vision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot. ️
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale our logistics platform.
- Optimize and fine-tune backend systems for speed and scalability.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices are upheld. ✔️
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely fixes and improvements. ️
- Contribute to architecture decisions, driving the technical direction of our backend services.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Java Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- German and English fluency C1+
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment. ️
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
Nice-to-Haves :
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). ️
- Familiarity with microservices architecture. ️
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
