The ideal candidate will help drive revenue growth by building a strong pipeline of sales leads and helping create the market strategy.

You will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship with new prospects as well as maintaining a strong relationship with existing accounts.

Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will help you succeed as a (Senior) Account Executive in an agile small team and promising landscape.

This job can either be based in Hamburg, Berlin or Munich or remote.

Fluency or native German is a must!

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on knowledge with a SaaS environment
  • Up and Cross-selling up to Digital Transformation projects into customer’s where relationships have been cultivated.
  • Closely maps to and influences the customer’s strategic board level priorities
  • Seeks, identifies and initiates new go to market propositions through the application of Industry knowledge
  • Identifies business value that the customer was not previously aware of
  • Has a plan in place to take SFDC / ServiceNow to a lighthouse deal
  • Engages with decision makers to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data.
  • Successfully interacts at C-level.
  • Drives significant coordination amongst groups such as Sales Engineers, Sales Specialists, Marketing, Business Development, Professional Services, Executives, Partners etc.

  • Partners with GSIs and Services to create a business solution and technical delivery plan.
  • Provides mentoring relationships to more junior Account Executives.
  • Conveys leadership, authority, and confidence with every interaction, no matter what form the message; presentation, orally and in writing.
  • Accurately forecasts and achieves revenue goals.
  • Holds a hungry hunter mentality and is eager to learn

Qualifications

  • Several years of solutions selling experience within a SaaS environment
  • Willingness to travel at least 30%-50% of the time
  • Capacity to develop a network inside the customer creating greater customer intimacy
  • Ability to map out and strategically define account plans for top-tier accounts
  • Ability to sell both an application and deployment of a platform
  • Effectively optimizes internal and external networks
  • Evidence of relationship-building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships
  • Exhibits characteristics of self-starting, risk-taking, and a drive to succeed
  • Ability to negotiate complex deals
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and / or ServiceNow desirable
  • Knowledge in Apex, Lightning Components and API s are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a focus on capturing requirements and use cases, developing a solution and articulating business value
  • Superior presentation and demonstration skills with a focus on storytelling
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems
  • Experience of working across a range of industries and be able to understand the current landscape and typical challenges and opportunities
  • Network in German Mittelstand a plus
  • Fluency in English & German
