Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) - General Ledger

We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist General Ledger (m / f / d) for our Finance Team, based in our main office in Hamburg.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the preparation and booking of business transactions (including IFRS / IFRS)
• Ensuring and complying with the reconciliation between IFRS / IAS and HGB
• Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS / IAS and HGB
• Preparation on monthly tax calculations
• Further development and implementation of the Internal Control Framework / L
• Contact person for audit process
• Responsibility for the implementation of projects as part of continuous improvement processes
• Accounting support for M&A activities

Your profile :

• You have successfully completed university studies with focus on accounting or a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as an accountant (m / f / d), balance sheet accountant (m / f / d), tax clerk (m / f / d)
• You have a professional experience in a corporate or with an audit / tax consultancy firm
• You have a good knowledge of international (IFRS) and German (HGB) accounting
• User knowledge of common accounting software; Oracle knowledge is a plus
• Analytical way of thinking, high level of initiative, willingness to take responsibility
• You are fluent in English and have at least a good command of German
