Datacenter Manager

• The task of the Data Center Manager / Site Manager (m / f / d) is to manage our data center holistically and technically and to ensure smooth service provision as well as 24 / 7 operations at the site
• In doing so, you will assume overall responsibility at the location for all employees and all services provided
• This also includes full P&L responsibility for a large budget (maintenance costs, opex / capex, subcontractors, employees, etc.)
• You assume all entrepreneurial obligations in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations at the site, including occupational safety, environmental protection, quality management and all social standards
• In addition, you will act as the first point of contact for our customer (whose data center we manage on their behalf) and support them in continuously developing the site by implementing further services.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

In order to be able to competently perform this responsible task, we are looking for someone (m / f / d) with relevant industry experience in the data center environment as well as functional experience in the operational and strategic maintenance management of a data center.

In addition, you should have the following experience :

• Proven experience in a similar role with P&L responsibility in the area of "managed services" for critical infrastructures
• Management experience in operations and in the interdisciplinary exercise of the same (employee management, corporate culture, growth, QHSE)
• Industry knowledge of data center environments and one or more of the following areas : facility management, project management, building technology, etc.
• Internal and external customer management with the ability to interact at a wide variety of levels both internally and externally on the customer, service provider and supplier side
• Good commercial acumen with a strong understanding of financial metrics
• Enthusiasm for fast-paced, high-growth environments with an affinity for matrix organizations
• Good organizational skills with the ability to create structures and methodically approach problem solving
• High level of integrity with the ability to build relationships internally and externally and gain the trust of your interlocutors
• Excellent presentation skills - written, oral and presentation
• Fluent knowledge of the German and English languages, both written and spoken
