Your mission

We are a casual mobile game publisher (Gimica) and leading loyalty platform operator (JustPlay).

We are seeking a mid-level Technical Artist to join our dynamic team. This versatile role will serve as a bridge between the art team and the development team.

As a Technical Artist, you will shift between creative and technical aspects, handling everything from UI design, animations, and asset integration to basic front-end development tasks.

You will collaborate closely with designers and developers to ensure a smooth workflow and contribute to creating polished, optimized game experiences.

This role offers the flexibility to work fully remotely, or hybrid from our office in Munich. Join one of the largest casual games publishers in the market, where our games are enjoyed by millions of players (our solitaire game is one of the top most downloaded card games in the US).

Job Responsibilities

Work on art-related tasks like UI design, simple animations, and importing art assets into Unity.

Contribute to basic front-end development, ensuring visual and technical elements blend seamlessly.

Collaborate with the art and dev teams to optimize the art pipeline and resolve technical issues.

Stay up-to-date with Unity and technical art developments to continuously improve your workflow.

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay

Proficiency with Unity, with experience in integrating and optimizing art assets.

Strong grasp of 2D / 3D art creation processes, with experience in UI design, animations, and asset importing.

Basic front-end development skills and the ability to handle light programming tasks within Unity.

Familiarity with performance optimization for mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between art and development.

Ideally, experience working remotely or with distributed teams.
