The role
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of technology initiatives. This includes technical projects as well as department-wide initiatives, such as implementing new work processes.
Your role is to enable the CPTO to work efficiently by supporting day-to-day business operations and planning and executing key strategic projects individually.
- Project management of key strategic programmes, autonomously or in close collaboration with technical leadership.
- Ability to break down complex technical projects, abstract that technical complexity and present this information to stakeholders to enable them to make trade-offs.
- Fulfil the role of Chief of Staff to the CPTO, acting as a sounding board for the exploration of ideas and ventures.
- Take the lead on strategic communications such as presentations and roll-outs, particularly those of a technical nature.
- Effectively capture and present key metrics and data to assess engineering effectiveness.
