Choose the best place for your work Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities :

• You will support in research tasks for the field of sensing and adjacent fields for various healthcare applications
• You will develop or improve computer vision software with relevant knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
• You will develop or improve algorithms and applications for other types of sensor applications
• You are involved in creating new use cases for predevelopment-level product ideas

Your qualifications and experience :

• You are currently successfully studying in the field of mechatronics, software engineering, computer science / technologies or any other related field, at least in the 4th bachelor or 1st master semester
• You have broad knowledge in programming, sensor technologies and data analytics, in which you already gathered some work experience
• You have experience in MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• You have experience with Computer Vision Packages : Familiarity with OpenCV, YOLO, MediaPipe, Numpy, etc. ensures practical experience with industry-standard tools
• You worked with Sensors and Data Processing : Proficiency in working with various sensors (e.g., 2D and 3D cameras, RADAR, LiDAR, IMUs) including their setup, calibration, data acquisition, and processing
• You are familiar with Software Development Tools and Practices : Proficiency in version control (Git), code review processes, and agile methodologies

• You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
• You have strong communication and time management skills
• You possess a deep curiosity and willingness to dive into new subject areas
• Independence and a goal-oriented mindset are critical for managing tasks and achieving objectives
• You have excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly
