Legal Counsel
One of my esteemed start-up clients has recently come to me with a very interesting option for a Legal Counsel (DACH) to support their growing business.
The role is going to be pivotal role to the business as they are looking for somebody to support them on all relevant topics (Commercial Law, GDPR, Corporate Law.
etc.) as they are expanding in the German market.
Responsibilities
- Supporting all departments (especially sales) in the areas of commercial law, data protection, and corporate law as well as handling anything that may come across your desk.
- Reporting directly to the management of the company.
- Taking responsibility for the DACH jurisdiction but being ambitious and looking to grow as the company expands their presence in Germany.
Benefits
- Close to fully remote working but occasionally travelling to Berlin, Frankfurt and London on an ADHOC basis.
- A strong salary remuneration of up to €100,000 - 110,000
- Great social benefits including a sabbatical after a few years at the company.

Requirements :
- German-qualified lawyer (two state exams)
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Great communication skills and an interest in working very close to the business and helping them with their growth plans.
- A start-up and agile mindset alongside the ability to give digestible legal advice.
- 3-5 years of professionally qualified experience.
