Your Role :
As the Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our presence in the DACH territory. This is a strategic role that goes beyond closing deals you'll be responsible for driving market penetration, building key customer relationships, and setting the foundation for a successful regional sales team.
- Market Leader : You will be at the forefront of driving our expansion into new markets, identifying and capitalising on opportunities to grow our customer base.
- Strategic Closer : As a seasoned sales professional, you will engage with prospects, delivering significant ROI through an efficient, value-based sales cycle.
- Team Builder : As you establish the territory, you will have the opportunity to recruit, mentor, and lead a regional sales team, instilling a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Product Evangelist : You will become an expert in our solutions, articulating the value proposition to prospective customers and providing insights into future product developments.
- Hunter Mentality : While you’ll receive support from BDRs and marketing, you will also leverage your network and prospect independently to overcome obstacles and open new doors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Territory Development : Establish and grow our presence in a new market, identifying key opportunities and developing strategies to maximise revenue.
- Customer Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their pain points, and providing tailored solutions that drive value.
- Team Leadership : As the business grows, recruit, develop, and lead a regional sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and success.
- Product Mastery : Gain a deep understanding of our platform and the procurement market to effectively demonstrate and communicate the value of our solutions.
- Sales Strategy : Utilise advanced sales intelligence and engagement tools to manage deal cycles, forecast accurately, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise-level technology SaaS sales within the procurement or supply chain space. This is an essential requirement.
- Self-motivated and highly driven, with a passion for building and growing new business opportunities.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in recruiting and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Proficiency in tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience).
- Language Skills : You will be fluent in both German and English
