RoleSummary
As a Strategic Account Director, youwill be responsible for managing and expanding relationships withexisting clients, ensuring the adoption and integration of Symantecand Carbon Black products across their cybersecurity portfolios.
Your role is critical in driving retention, upselling, andidentifying new opportunities to enhance client security postureswhile delivering exceptional value.
KeyResponsibilities
ClientEngagement & RelationshipManagement :
- Act as theprimary point of contact for key strategic clients, fostering deeprelationships and trust to ensure long-term businessgrowth.
- Proactively manage and grow existingaccounts, identifying opportunities to expand the use of Symantecand Carbon Black solutions.
- Develop a thoroughunderstanding of each client's business objectives, security needs,and technical challenges.
- Collaborate closelywith clients to implement tailored cybersecurity strategies thatleverage the full Symantec and Carbon Blackportfolios.
- Ensure high levels of clientsatisfaction by consistently delivering value and providingproactive support throughout the clientlifecycle.
PortfolioAdoption & SolutionDelivery :
- Drive the adoptionof Symantec and Carbon Black solutions, ensuring clients fullyrealize the value of the cybersecurityproducts.
- Work with clients to identify gaps intheir security architecture and propose solutions that align withtheir long-term business goals.
- Collaboratewith technical teams to deliver solution demonstrations, workshops,and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase the capabilities ofSymantec and Carbon Black.
- Provide leadershipduring implementation and deployment phases, ensuring a seamlessintegration of solutions into the client'senvironment.
SalesGrowth & RevenueRetention :
- Meet and exceedrevenue retention and growth targets by identifying upsell andcross-sell opportunities within your assignedaccounts.
- Lead the development and execution ofstrategic account plans, with a focus on driving portfolioexpansion and securing renewals.
- Identify risksto account health and work proactively to mitigate client churn,securing long-term partnerships.
- Participate inquarterly business reviews (QBRs) with clients, providing insightson the performance of solutions and offering recommendations foroptimization.
Collaboration& InternalAlignment :
- Work closely withinternal teams, including sales engineering, customer success, andtechnical support, to ensure client needs aremet.
- Act as a client advocate within Arrow,providing feedback to product management and development teams todrive product improvements.
- Collaborate withmarketing and sales leadership to develop targeted campaigns andinitiatives that promote Symantec and Carbon Blackproducts.
Qualifications
Required :
- Provenexperience in account management, business development, or saleswithin the cybersecurity or technologysectors.
- Strong understanding of Symantec andCarbon Black solutions (or similar technologies) and their role ina comprehensive cybersecuritystrategy.
- Excellent relationship-buildingskills with the ability to establish trust with senior stakeholders(CISOs, IT Directors, etc.).
- Demonstratedability to achieve and exceed revenue retention and growthtargets.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of thetime for client meetings and events
- Fluency inEnglish.
Preferred :
- Fluencyin additional European languages.
- Experiencewith strategic sales initiatives and marketingcollaborations.
