Reports To : Licensing Director
Office : Flexible and mostly remote but will be required to visit the client's office in Wolfsburg at least once a month.
Start Date : 1
June 2024
Probation Period : 3 months from the start date.
Salary : competitive, dependent upon experience.
The position will be based in Germany, preferably Cologne / Düsseldorf or nearby cities. The candidate should be fluent in German and English.
Job Description
As our Licensing Associate Manager, you will work within the Brand Development team and will be responsible for day-to-day tasks relating to client and licensee management, including product development.
You will potentially have gained some experience in a licensing, marketing, buying, brand management or brand development related role and have an interest in Automotive, Fashion, Lifestyle and FMCG brands.
Job Requirements
Work with licensees and licensors on product development, managing the approval process from initial concepts to final production samples.
Assist in coordinating and updating monthly client trackers, to capture ongoing prospecting conversations and deals at contract stage.
Assist in managing contract process flow, by inputting deal memos onto Global Icons' internal contract software, Maestro.
Support day-to-day needs of the Brand Development team, clients and licensees software, Maestro.
Research potential licensing partners, product markets, industries, trends and categories .
Assist with Marketing related projects.
Set up, attend, and participate in client / licensee calls and meetings, developing agendas, taking accurate notes and preparing meeting handouts.
Coordinate calls with licensees to monitor processes, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
Work on a variety of presentations and documents, typically using PowerPoint and Excel.
Support day-to-day needs of the Licensing Director in Germany and other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills & Experience
F luent in German and English.
