We are seeking a Career Development / Talent Manager to join our team in Munich, Frankfurt or Berlin. Please note that this is a maternity leave cover and a temporary fixed-term contract for 18-months.
Job Overview :
The Talent Management team is responsible for the career development including staffing, i.e. the optimal mobilisation of consultants across our client projects taking into consideration the commercial needs of the business and the individual needs of the consultant.
The Talent Manager will be responsible for the staffing and talent management initiatives for a designated group of consultants.
The person will be part of the Germany and Austria Talent Management team and will be working in close collaboration with the broader European Talent Management team and the respective local Partners.
Key Responsibilities :
Be a Talent Manager to about 50 consultants
Staffing of consultants considering balances between project requirements and execution, development objectives and personal preferences
Oversee utilization, ensure that trapped capacity is limited
Talent Management for assigned consultants including on-boarding, performance management and career development
Management of Mid-Year and Year-End performance management processes
Act as person of trust for consultants regarding work related issues such as career development, work-life-balance or conflict resolution
Collaboration with other Human Capital functions regarding topics such as local training or reporting on performance management cases
Working on project-based initiatives
Experience Required :
Ideal candidates will have at least 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced and dynamic client services business environment
Talent Management experience preferred
Experience balancing ever-changing work demands in a challenging environment with numerous stakeholders to satisfy
Proven ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organization
Skills and Attributes :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Psychology, Human Resource Management or Business Administration
Fluent in German & English
Excellent communication skills on all levels of the organization
Collaborative and works effectively as part of a high-performing team
Credible, highly professional, able to communicate and negotiate effectively with partners and consultants
Ability to problem solve in a fast pace environment
Creative, strategic thinker, who continually seeks ways to improve the way things are done
Proactive, high performing multi-tasker who takes full ownership of their work and manages the details
Technical Skills :
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
