You ensure consistent contract management and coverage and enable the procurement function to manage risk, secure supply and deliver best possible commercial terms for the organization.
You support SE & SGRE integration and alignment and work together with Legal, IT, and Procurement Leadership to drive latest technologies, processes and applications in the business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide Expert Knowledge for the Contract Risk Management through the development, standardization and optimization of the End-to-End contract risk management (Process, System, Documentation and Training)
- Set standards for an efficient and transparent End-to End Contract Risk Management with the objective to align / synchronize Sales and Procurement Contracts in order to ensure Contractual and Commercial risks are either avoided, mitigated or transferred in compliance with defined Approval Process
- Ensure overall process compliance and performance as Global Process Owner for Contract Lifecycle Management in Procurement
- Work closely with the partners to support process optimization and align cross-functionally with variety of functions such as Governance, Legal, Procurement, Sales, Quality, HSE and others
- Manage and support Contract Management in Ariba by providing Standards, Guidance, Training and Support to the Procurement Organization and Stakeholders and work closely with IT to implement requirements into CLM systems (SAP Ariba, DocuSign)
What You Bring
- Degree in Law, Economics, Engineering or equivalent (Master's Degree is preferred)
- Long standing professional experience in Contracts Management (Terms and Conditions drafting, negotiation, risk assessment, contractual mitigation, development of standard contract templates, local legal requirements analysis) within global companies
- Subject Matter Expertise in contract, legal and risk as well as strong knowledge of procurement and commercial functions
- Ability to positively interact with different partners (including senior management and leadership) working in different fields ( Legal, IT) and with different culture environments
- Deep knowledge of contract management software and systems (SAP Ariba Contract Management) as well as a thorough understanding of business guidelines and policies (LoA, Legal Report / Statement, Compliance, Signatories) is advantageous
- Strong teamwork skills and work time flexibility to interact with offices around the globe (Americas, Europe, APAC)
- Strong proficiency in English required, German or other languages are a plus
