Production under controlled conditions enables precise manufacturing, whereby the monitoring of individual product parameters has so far been carried out purely visually.

Various non-destructive measurement technologies and optical methods have the potential to detect and quantify these parameters non-destructively.

What you will do

• Literature research
• Planning production experiments with the help of DoE
• Performing the experiments using various optical technologies
• Statistical evaluation, summary and documentation of the results

What you bring to the table

• Studies in the field of Physics, biotechnology, optics or biology
• Experience in planning structured experiments
• Knowledge of optics and measurement technology
• Ideally initial knowledge of materials and building materials as well as indoor farming
• Good knowledge of English is an advantage
