Worldwide customer support is provided through the Group’s own sales and service companies as well as authorized dealers. Within WIRTGEN INTERNATIONAL GmbH, the sales-supporting functions of the WIRTGEN GROUP are consolidated, including Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Financing, and Rental Services. The company's objective is to provide focused support and effective management of the Group’s worldwide sales channels.

Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

The Compliance Manager serves as the primary Ethics and Compliance partner for the WIRTGEN GROUP globally, helping foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and responsible business conduct across a complex international organization. Working closely with WIRTGEN GROUP stakeholders and John Deere’s global Ethics and Compliance team, this role supports compliance program implementation, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and the continued integration of WIRTGEN GROUP into Deere’s enterprise compliance framework.

In addition to the gross monthly salary, the salary for this position (full-time) consists of various special payments. Depending on your experience, you can expect an annual starting salary of between 7,463 and 11,194 EUR in this position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Compliance Manager supporting WIRTGEN GROUP globally, acting as the strategic interface on compliance risks, program expectations, regulatory matters, and alignment with John Deere’s Ethics and Compliance strategy
  • Implement, maintain, monitor, and manage compliance program elements for WIRTGEN GROUP, including policies, controls, third-party risk management activities, training, communications, monitoring, and reporting processes
  • Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to identify, assess, update, prioritize, and mitigate compliance risks while preparing insights and recommendations for Ethics and Compliance leadership and business stakeholders
  • Support the continued integration of WIRTGEN GROUP into John Deere’s global compliance framework by helping implement enterprise policies, procedures, controls, and compliance expectations across relevant operations, functions, and markets
  • Collaborate with John Deere’s global and regional Compliance Managers to identify, evaluate, escalate, and address compliance risks across multiple countries and jurisdictions
  • Facilitate information sharing and risk visibility related to WIRTGEN GROUP activities globally, including support for emerging, complex, and cross-border compliance matters
  • Partner with Ethics and Compliance teams, including Third-Party Risk Management, Investigations, Training, Policy, Analytics, Internal Audit, Legal, and Human Resources, to promote a consistent and effective approach to compliance risk management
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of risk-based compliance processes, controls, training programs, communications, monitoring activities, and reporting mechanisms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key WIRTGEN GROUP and John Deere stakeholders, providing compliance guidance, training, coaching, and support while promoting culture of integrity, ethical behavior, and accountability

What Skills You Need:

  • Experience supporting or managing corporate compliance, ethics, legal, audit, risk management, internal controls, regulatory, or related governance programs
  • Strong understanding of compliance program fundamentals, including risk assessment, policy governance, training and communications, third-party risk management, monitoring, and reporting
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across multiple cultures, business functions and organizational levels across regions, in both English and German
  • Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to global business operations.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, third-party risk management programs, trade and sanctions compliance, corporate codes of conduct, investigatory practices, or related compliance disciplines
  • Experience developing compliance training, communications, monitoring activities, dashboards, and management reporting
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change through collaboration, credibility, and trust
  • Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous

Education:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, or a related field

This exempt position is based in Windhagen and vacant as soon as possible.
