Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role

• You create long-term value with automation based on infrastructure as code
• You will take end-to-end ownership of the design, implementation, quality assurance, and operations of the infrastructure you build, with a "You build it - you run it" mindset
• You have a firm working experience with cloud providers (preferably AWS) and building infrastructure with orchestration tools like Terraform are within your Swiss knife tool kit
• You are collaborating closely with our development team to assist in building and implementing CI / CD pipelines (Gitlab) for the applications with GitOps (ArgoCD) approach

Your profile

• You're passionate about infrastructure automation and building resilient systems, ideally with 5+ years of professional experience and a background in computer science or informatics
• You possess 3+ years of Kubernetes experience and a solid understanding of networking technologies, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, and Site-to-Site VPNs
• You have 2+ years of experience with Terraform to build infrastructure in cloud operating environments, particularly using AWS
• You're proficient in Kafka and familiar with databases, especially PostgreSQL
• You enjoy working in a diverse team environment with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a customer-first approach
• You are fluent in spoken and written English, with German skills as a plus
