Job Responsibilities :

As the Head of Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include :

• Overseeing the entire company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Leading the recruitment and scaling of our engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Balancing hands-on technical work with managerial duties, maintaining a 50 / 50 split to drive both technical excellence and team effectiveness.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives and drive strategic growth.
• Championing best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps methodologies to optimize performance and efficiency.

Job Requirements :

We're looking for candidates who bring a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership experience to the table. The ideal candidate will have :

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles, with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud environments, with a focus on AWS or similar platforms.
• Fluent German language skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with local stakeholders.
