The Role

As part of their FAS team, you will be the face of their cutting-edge sample preparation technology, providing expert support and training to customers across Germany.

You will play a critical role in ensuring customer success, from pre-sales demonstrations and product training to post-sales support and troubleshooting.

Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients achieve their research goals and in driving the adoption of the company’s solutions.

Field Application Specialist Responsibilities :

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of their products.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers and partners on the operation, application, and best practices of their technologies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept experiments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with the R&D and engineering teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
• Gather and relay customer feedback and market trends to internal teams to influence future product development.

Field Application Specialist Requirements :

• Advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in a relevant Biological field, ideally with some NGS / sample preparation industry experience
• Strong customer-facing experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Germany and occasionally across DACH.
