Business Consultant Data and AI (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Your tasks :

• Work with business units and functions globally to solve business problems and address analytics needs for Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, and Business Intelligence solutions;
• Drive the definition, requirements, design, delivery and adoption of innovative AI and Operations Research, and BI solutions together with business units and IT organization
• Perform data analysis, create explorative business intelligence dashboards, optimize processes, conduct market research, perform financial and risk analysis, and communicate results to key stakeholders to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Contribute to the strategic vision, roadmap and prioritization of features for development for data analytics projects
• Follow agile product management practices to ensure timely delivery of product deployments
• Support the department's mission by building and extending critical AI enablers such as digital strategy, AI awareness or data leadership

Requirements

Your profile :

To be successful in the above role, the incumbent should possess / display the following key skills / attributes :

• Outstanding university degree in a related technical / mathematical / business / finance discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in professional organizations with an emphasis on data and business analysis, digital product management, business / marketing intelligence, consulting, or a related field
• Ability to translate business problems into quantitative analyses and insights
• Driving product ideas from concept and ideation through successful internal or external launch and ongoing management
• Strong conceptual skills and innovation attitude
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Passion to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies as well as to dive into the business concepts and processes behind the data
• Experience in data analysis (using Python, R, C++, Excel)
• Knowledge of Operations Research, AI and machine learning methods preferred
• Knowledge of the logistics & transportation industry preferred
• Knowledge of agile working mode preferred
• Clear and succinct verbal and written communications in English
• Global mindset and high level of cultural sensitivity

The Global Data and AI department is on a mission to turn DB Schenker into a data-driven company. Our multicultural and cross-functional team focuses on designing advanced analytics solutions to solve business use cases in logistics utilizing Machine Learning, AI techniques, Operations Research, Business Intelligence solutions, Data Visualization tools and Big Data technologies in cooperation with our Software Engineering team, internal business units and global IT.
