Barista (m/w/d)

Your mission

We are looking for (full time / part time) Baristas to join our shops throughout Berlin!

At Five Elephant, we are passionate about quality, and look to serve the best coffees and cakes in the world. We believe in creating personal and sustainable partnerships in all our interactions;

from coffee producers to the guests entering our shops.

Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere are of utmost importance to us! and as a Barista, you are the face of Five Elephant and promote it’s values to the public by creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere.

Your Tasks :

• Maintain responsible relationships as part of a young and motivated team looking to grow its place in the Specialty Coffee industry.
• Produce all coffee-based beverages, teas, and drinks according to our service standards with special attention to detail and care.
• Serve all Five Elephant guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Present and sell our coffees and cakes to customers in an open and friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop.
• Perform all opening and closing duties.
• Operate the POS system and be accountable for cash handling.

Your profile

• At least one year of professiona l experience as a barista in specialty coffee.
• You must have a strong customer service mentality.
• Must have good organisation and the ability to multi-task.
• You must be reliable and flexible.
• Available to work weekends.
• You must have German and English language skills.
