We are Aiways, driving the evolution of the automotive industry.
For our European head office in Munich, we are looking for a OTA Integration, Test and Validation Engineer , who will be a part of the Connectivity Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The purpose of the role is to act as a test engineer perform regression test for OTA platforms in Europe with current and upcoming vehicles.
- To identify Vehicle SW bugs to improve user experience.
- To act as the specialist towards the central organisation in feeding back quality concerns via the assigned processes to ensure the upgrade capability in the specified Environment.
- Perform various testing related to vehicle real-time and offline at different locations in aspects related to user-experience.
- Responsible for Over-the-air validation including FOTA, SOTA.
- Responsible for FOTA operation of Aiways fleet across Europe.
- Responsible of FOTA test bench operation and maintenance.
- Responsible for OTA function throughout the entire development lifecycle in Europe.
- Identify FOTA integration problems and create issue report to Research & Development and other relevant departments.
- Experience with ticketing using JIRA.
- Based on vehicle software release plan, identify release targets and track release status.
- Quickly respond OTA technical problems and provide necessary technical support for Aiways and fleet partner fleet.
- Communicate with a distributed team across Europe.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor (or above) degree in automotive engineering, electronics engineering, computer science or similar fields.
- 3+ years’ experience in automotive field, preferably OEM, Tier-1 Supplier.
- Strong experience with Linux or equivalent programming skills.
- Familiar with OTA, FOTA, SOTA concept, functionality, update process and release management.
- Familiar with vehicle communication protocols like CAN, LIN protocol.
- Experience with CAN based diagnostic tools (CANoe, Candela, Diva) as well as with flashing and calibration protocols.
- Have good knowledge of E / E architectures in Electric vehicle.
- Exposure with IT concepts (e.g., database / Cloud, software architectures)
- Professional experience in validating the software for automotive control units or equivalent qualification according to the ISTQB standard.
- Class B Driving License and safe drive skills.
- English, German can be used as working languages. Chinese language is a plus.
