Senior Accountant General Ledger & Fixed Assets (m/f/d)
We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products.
We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases.

Key responsibilities :
- Performing bookings and regular postings.
- Conducting the monthly closing process (e.g., account reconciliation, internal reconciliation, reclassification, and reconciliation of circulating accounts).
- Preparation and booking of accruals and provisions.
- Carrying out closing activities for fixed assets (e.g., subledger reconciliation, depreciation, settlements); responsible for the accuracy and completeness of fixed asset master data and assets under construction.
- Generating ad hoc and regular reports, including statistical reports and monthly / annual report packages.
- Managing bank account reconciliation.
- Performing intercompany netting.
- Improving process documentation.
- Assisting in the onboarding of new employees and knowledge sharing.
We expect :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification in Accounting.
- Several years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and provisions accounting, preferably in an international context.
- In-depth knowledge of general ledger and fixed assets accounting, including VAT regulations.
- First professional experience with SAP FI.
- Advanced skills in MS Office tools, particularly MS Outlook and Excel.
- Prior experience in accounting projects.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, cooperative mindset.
- High level of accountability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to different company and country cultures.
- Language skills : fluent in English and at least one additional European language (preferably Spanish, Portuguese, French or German).
