Our digital product management team in R&D is working to make field activities in breeding and seed production more digital.

Become a part of it and start as our Product Owner (m / f / d) as soon as possible and permanent!

We are looking for a Product Owner (m / f / d) to help develop innovative web applications and work with a growing and agile development team at KWS Saat SE & Co.

KGaA in Einbeck , Lower Saxony ( Germany ). Join us to create and maintain advanced GIS-based web applications on the FieldExplorer platform that help plan and document field activities using new automated methods to increase efficiency and quality.

After an onboarding phase we could align on remote work within Germany,

Your new challenges :

• Ongoing development of core web applications within the existing FieldExplorer platform
• Engage with several user groups (regional experts, smart stations, breeding, commercial and product management) to establish user requirements
• Document and refine requirements to produce detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with a distributed development team to realise the required features
• Align with other FieldExplorer development teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation within the platform and use of common components and design systems.
• Testing (office and in-field) and efficient operational deployment of features
• User support and problem solving

Bring in your competencies

• Proven experience as product owner in the conceptualization and development of web and / or GIS applications
• Experience in agile development projects , ideally first knowledge in the area of digital agricultural tools
• Willingness and passion to engage with new technologies such as AI
• Open-minded, self-motivated, structured, and customer satisfaction orientated, with intercultural experience
• Good English language skills (spoken and written), German is an additional advantage
