To strengthen our team, we are seeking a French-speaking Business Development / Go to Market Manager to join us and expand our geographical footprint .

In this role, you will be integral in ensuring a successful market launch, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.

You will build and lead a versatile team for local sales and operations, foster strong relationships with internal departments, and support the preparation for further European expansion.

Your role in a team : Flexible and Hands-On : Ready to assist in setting up the product in France and support sales, customer service, and claims-related build-ups.

Organize and Implement : Steer and execute key activities for the successful launch of the pet vertical in France. Assist Management : Support the Country Manager in overseeing all operations within the French market, ensuring profit, revenue, cash, and quality targets are met.

Develop Teams : Aid in the management and development of local teams in various roles such as sales, customer service, and claims management.

Work in close collaboration with the Ops & Sales teams at the headquarter. Customer-Facing Activities : Engage directly with customers to support sales and provide excellent customer service.

Market Analysis : Continuously analyze the market and adapt business strategies to meet customer and market needs. Liaison Role : Act as an intermediary between central core services, business entities, and local market and customer requirements for the pet vertical.

External Stakeholder Management : Engage with key stakeholders within Zurich Germany & Group. Leadership and Connectivity : Support the Country Manager by connecting teams and processes and displaying leadership qualities.

Bilingual Skills : Fluent in French and English. What you need to be successful : Min. 1 year of work experience Experience in Fast-Paced Environments : Proven track record in dynamic settings like startups or consulting.

French Business and Culture : Experience working with or within French businesses and an understanding of French culture.

Team and Project Management : Background in supporting team leadership and managing multi-stakeholder projects. Customer Facing Roles : First experience in customer facing roles, ie.

Sales & Customer Service. Insurance Market Knowledge : Ideally, already some knowledge of the French insurance market. Target achievements for the next half a year : Developing and Conducting : Assist in creating and executing a 100-day roadmap for launching Pet Expansion in France, leveraging previous findings and go-to-market strategy.

Supporting Successful Launch : Contribute to the successful launch of the pet vertical in the French market. Stakeholder Engagement : Support the Country Manager as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the French expansion.

Team Building : Help build a team for the launch phase, focusing on versatile profiles to cover local sales and ops roles.

Relationship Building : Foster strong relationships with non-operational departments to ensure support and influence on a successful launch.
