Our client has been at the forefront of technological advancements in vehicle electrification, developing and manufacturing cutting-edge technologies for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and recreational vehicles.

As they continue to innovate and expand, they are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with a specialized focus on the European bus and truck market.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth in the European bus and truck market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and automotive engineering, with initial knowledge of electric and hybrid drive technology using battery solutions being desirable.
  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the European commercial vehicle sector.
  • Deep understanding of the European bus and truck market, including key players, market trends, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in German & English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
