Your Responsibilities :

• License Management : An IT License Manager will oversee the introduction, maintenance, and continuous development of the license management system, including procurement and allocation of software licenses.
• Compliance Reporting : An IT License Manager will collect hardware and software information, compare it with existing license documents, and create compliance reports.
• Legal and Documentation : An IT License Manager will ensure legal compliance, secure storage of license certificates, clear definition of licensing rules, and complete documentation.
• Software Asset Management : An IT License Manager will develop software asset management and related reports (inventory, installations, license balance, optimization potential, costs, risks).
• Internal Consulting : An IT License Manager will advise IT and specialist teams on licenses and subscriptions during software procurement and act as a contact person for licensors, including audits.

Your Qualifications :

• Educational Background : Degree or training in IT, legal, or commercial fields (e.g., business / computer science, business law, IT specialist, IT administrator).
• Experience : Proven experience in IT license management or strong IT knowledge with a willingness to learn software asset management.
• Licensing Knowledge : An IT License Manager will be familiar with license certificates and rules of major IT licensors (e.

g., Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Adobe) and basic IT compliance guidelines.

• Technical Skills : An IT License Manager will have experience with risk assessments, business process descriptions, policies, regular reports, and knowledge of Matrix 42 or comparable ITSM, SAM, and ticketing tools.
• Frameworks : An IT License Manager will have knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and other IT frameworks is advantageous.
• Language Skills : An IT License Manager will be proficient in German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
